How to connect

    Open Connectors

    In Claude, go to Settings and open Connectors.

What is the AI Canvas MCP?

An MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and other AI assistants use AI Canvas. Ask in chat for a logo, poster, Instagram post, video or photo effect and get the file back in the conversation.

Does it cost anything?

It uses your AI Canvas credits at the same prices as the web app. New accounts get free starter credits, and you can ask the assistant how many credits you have left.

Which models does it use?

Nano Banana 2 for images and designs and Sora 2 for video by default. You can ask for another model by name, such as GPT Image 2, Veo 3.1 or Kling.

Where do my creations go?

Everything you make through the MCP is also saved to your AI Canvas library, so you can open it on the web or in the app to edit it.

Do I need an API key?

No. You sign in with your AI Canvas account the first time the assistant uses it.
