Video tool · timeline editor in the browser

Drop in clips, photos, music and a voiceover, put them in order on a timeline, and render one finished video.

Video Composer is a simple way to combine videos online without installing an editor. You add video clips and still images to a timeline, put music on one audio lane and a voiceover on another, and press Generate Video to render everything as a single file. It is built for the step after generating: you made a few AI clips, a product shot or a talking avatar in AI Canvas, and now they need to become one post. Unlike the other video tools on the site, the composer does not run an AI model on your footage. It joins what you give it, in the order you set, at the size you pick. Files come from your device, so download any AI Canvas result first and then add it. A timeline can hold up to 50 clips and 12 audio tracks. Each render costs a flat price, shown on the Generate button before you start, for any timeline up to 15 minutes long. When it finishes you can play the video on the page, download it, or open it in your Library.

What it does

Clips, photos and two audio lanes

Add videos and images as clips, and audio as Music or Voice. Tracks on the same lane play one after another, and each track has its own start offset, trim and volume, so a voiceover can begin a few seconds in under the music.

Trim, reorder and set timing

Trim the start and end of each video clip, set how long each photo stays on screen (0.5 to 60 seconds, 3 seconds by default), and drag clips to reorder them. A video clip's own sound has a volume slider, so you can keep it, lower it or mute it.

One size for every clip

Pick 16:9 (1920x1080), 9:16 (1080x1920) or 1:1 (1080x1080). Clips that do not match are handled by the fit mode: Fit (Letterbox) shows the whole frame with bars, Fill (Crop) fills the frame and trims the edges, Stretch distorts to fill.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add your media

Drop files onto the page or use the Image, Video, Music and Voice buttons. Videos show a filmstrip on the timeline and audio shows its length. The total running time updates as you add things.

  2. 2

    Arrange the timeline

Click a clip or track to edit it in the inspector: trim, duration, volume, start offset. Drag clips into order, or select one and use the arrow keys. Space plays and pauses the preview, Delete removes the selected clip.

  3. 3

    Choose the format and render

Open Settings to set the aspect ratio, fit mode, default photo length and music ducking. Press Generate Video and keep the page open while it uploads and renders, then download the result.

Who it's for

For AI video creators

Most AI video models make clips of a few seconds. Combine several generated shots into one sequence, then lay a single music track across all of them so the cuts feel like one piece.

For short-form posts

Build a 9:16 reel or Short from phone clips and photos, add a trending sound you own the rights to on the Music lane, and a voiceover on the Voice lane.

For product and slideshow videos

Turn product photos into a timed slideshow at 1:1 or 16:9, mix in a demo clip, and add narration. Photos hold for the length you set, so pacing stays even.

Frequently asked questions

How do I combine videos into one?

Add the clips to the composer, drag them into the order you want, trim any you need shorter, pick an aspect ratio, and press Generate Video. The clips are joined back to back into a single video you can download.

Does the composer use AI?

No AI model touches your footage here; the composer cuts and joins what you add. It is meant for assembling AI clips you made elsewhere on AI Canvas, such as text to video results, translated videos or lip-synced clips.

Can I add music and a voiceover at the same time?

Yes. Music and Voice are separate lanes. With Duck music under voice turned on in Settings, the music volume is lowered while voice is playing, so speech stays clear.

What happens when clips have different shapes?

Everything is rendered at the aspect ratio you choose. Fit (Letterbox) keeps each clip whole with bars, Fill (Crop) crops it to fill the frame, and Stretch fills the frame by distorting the picture.

How long can the video be?

Up to 15 minutes. A longer timeline is refused before anything is charged. A timeline holds up to 50 clips and 12 audio tracks, and a still image can stay on screen for 0.5 to 60 seconds. The render runs while the page is open, so the composer is best for short videos of a few minutes or less.

How much does it cost?

Each render is a flat price, shown on the Generate Video button, whatever the length. You need to be signed in, and the button tells you if your balance is too low before you start.
