See a new haircut on your own face
Upload one photo, tap a cut, and the AI restyles your hair so you can judge it before anyone picks up the scissors.
Hairstyles is a set of 55 haircut templates you apply to a photo of yourself. The men's set has 32 cuts, from Taper Fade, French Crop and Two Block Cut to Mini Mullet, Man Bun and Bald. The women's set has 23, including Bob Cut, Pixie, Butterfly Layers, Shag with Bangs, Box Braids and updos like Claw Clip Updo and Messy Space Buns. Each template asks an image editing model (Nano Banana 2) to change the hairstyle in your photo, so you see the cut on your own face shape instead of on a model. It is the quickest way to answer "would this suit me" before a barber or salon visit.

Buzz cut and bald, without the clippers
Buzzcut and Bald are the two cuts that are hardest to undo, which is why they are worth seeing first. Run both on the same photo to see your head shape and hairline with almost nothing on top. They sit in the men's set, but their prompts don't mention gender, so anyone can run them.
Current barbershop cuts
The men's set follows what people actually ask barbers for: Taper Fade, Undercut Fade, Textured Crop, Edgar Cut, Broccoli Cut, Fluffy Korean Hair, Wolf Cuts and Two Block Cut, next to classics like Pompadour, Caesar Cut and Classic Side Part.
Lengths, layers and updos
The women's set covers length changes (Pixie, Bixie, Lob, Long Straight), layered cuts (Butterfly Layers, Shag with Bangs, Curtain Bangs Long) and styling looks like 90s Blowout, Victory Rolls and Wet Look Slick. To keep your cut and change only the color, use Hair Color instead.
How it works
- 1
Pick a cut in the grid
The grid shows the men's cuts first, then the women's. Open the one you want to try, for example Taper Fade, Bob Cut or Bald.
- 2
Upload a front-facing photo
Use a clear, well lit photo where your face and current hair are visible and not under a hat. Front-facing photos show the cut best. Signed in, you can also pick an image from your recent generations.
- 3
Choose a ratio and generate
Auto keeps the shape of your photo, or pick a ratio such as 4:5 or 9:16. The price shows on the Generate button, and you sign in there if you haven't.
Who it's for
Before a big chop
Going from long hair to a Pixie or a Buzzcut is hard to reverse. A few test images on your own face make the decision with less guesswork.
Choosing what to ask the barber for
Compare Taper Fade, Textured Crop and French Crop on one photo, then show the barber the one you liked instead of describing it.
Thinking about thinning hair
Bald and High and Tight let you see a shaved or very short look on yourself before deciding whether to stop fighting a receding hairline.

Frequently asked questions
Can I try hairstyles on my own face?
Yes. You upload a photo of yourself, pick one of the 55 templates, and the hairstyle in your photo is changed to that cut. A clear, front-facing photo with your hair visible works best.
Is there a buzz cut filter?
Yes, the Buzzcut template. It changes your hair to a buzz cut on your uploaded photo. High and Tight and Caesar Cut are other short options if you want to compare.
Can I see myself bald?
Yes, the Bald template removes the hair in your photo so you can see your head shape. It is AI, so the scalp and hairline are generated and won't always match exactly what you would look like shaved.
Does it work for women and men?
Yes. There are 23 women's styles and 32 men's cuts. Any template runs on any photo you upload, though each style was written with one set in mind.
Will it change my face?
The templates only ask for a hairstyle change, and the model aims to keep your face, clothes and background the same. Results vary, though: hair color or texture can shift too, and a cut that changes a lot can look slightly off around the ears and forehead. Generating again gives a different take.
What haircut suits me?
The page doesn't pick one for you, but you can run several cuts on the same photo and compare them. Starting with three very different shapes, like a Bob Cut, Long Wavy and a Pixie, or a Taper Fade, Slicked Back and a Man Bun, narrows it down quickly.
